Templot runs on
an ordinary PC under Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP and Vista. It
requires an Intel, AMD or 100% compatible processor e.g. 486, Pentium, Celeron,
K6, Athlon, Duron, Turion.
Sorry, the
Cyrix 6x86 and
VIA C3 processors are not suitable.

The delivery file is a self-extracting package named templot_rel_074b_setup.exe This has to be run (opened) on your system after it has been downloaded. Templot will then be installed on your computer. The program file named TemplotZero.exe will be extracted and placed in a folder on your system, and shortcut entries will be created in your Programs menu and on your desktop. The file size is approximately 1.3MB and on a slow dial-up connection it will take about 5 minutes to download. On a UK broadband connection download will typically take less than 10 seconds.
Please click the download link below, and then follow the instructions in your browser to Save and then Run (or Open) the delivery file.

If you are using Internet Explorer you may see a security warning like this:
The Templot delivery file is safe to run. Please click the Run button to install Templot on your computer.
After you have run the delivery file, you can then run Templot. Do any of these:
Click the Templot shortcut icon on your desktop.
Or click Start > Programs > Templot > run Templot .
Or click Start > Run... , type C:\TEMPLOT\TemplotZero.exe in the box and click OK .
Or if you changed the destination folder, run TemplotZero.exe from there.
You will not be able to use Templot until you have purchased a licence in the form of a lock-release code number for your computer. Please click buy Templot for full information about buying Templot online or by post.
Templot is still a development project. Upgrades (downloaded) are frequent and free to existing users until futher notice here.
Templot may not be able to run if there is no default printer on the system.
If there is no printer driver yet installed on your system, please install
one before running Templot. You don't need a printer to be physically present,
all that is needed is the driver program from the Windows CD-ROM for a typical
printer, e.g. HP Deskjet. To install the driver, click
Start > Settings > Control Panel >
Printers > Add Printer.
