RMweb Transfer Utility -- Basic Instructions You can use the RMweb Transfer Utility to copy an entire page from your Layout or Workbench topics on Old RMweb (or any other topic), and easily transfer it to New RMweb as a single post or blog entry. Only the actual posts are copied, and suitable formatting is applied to tidy them up and remove the unwanted full page layout. The RMweb Transfer Utility is a Windows program. Download it from RMweb Transfer Utility . You may see some warnings about executable files, which can be safely ignored. It doesn't need to be installed as such. When your browser asks what to do with it, click Save and save it somewhere on your computer where you can easily get at it to launch it by (double-)clicking on it in the usual way. It can be saved to the Windows Desktop if you don't have a regular downloads folder. Before using the RMweb Transfer Utility, first go to your Settings page on New RMweb and make sure the box is ticked to use the Rich Text Editor, like this:
Then go to Old RMweb and follow this sequence:
Now start the RMweb Transfer Utility, by (double-)clicking on the downloaded file. Follow this sequence:
Make sure you enter your User Name exactly as it appears on Old RMweb including any spaces.
Wait until the text has appeared before continuing.
Now go to New RMweb and select Add Entry on your blog pages:
