By ordering a Templot licence for your computer you indicate that you have read, understand and agree all of the Templot licence terms as detailed below. If anything is unclear, please ask.

TEMPLOT  LICENCE  ~  TERMS  OF  USE

1. Templot software is a development product available to registered users only. Templot software may be used on a computer for which a licence has been granted in the form of a lock-release code number and used on any other computer only to the extent necessary to obtain a licence for that computer.

2. Output from Templot software may be used for private non-commercial purposes only. Printed track templates, screen images, data files and all other output from Templot software contain proprietary information and copyright design elements. Printed track templates, screen images, data files and all other output from Templot software may not be published, distributed, sold, hired out or otherwise disposed of by way of trade or otherwise in any form or as part of or attached to any publication or advertising, literary or pictorial matter whatsoever.

3. Templot software is a hobby product intended for modelmakers. Output from Templot software may not conform to the standards and/or regulatory requirements for full-size railway track and passenger-carrying miniature railways. Templot software is not intended to be used in the design of such track or for any other safety-critical application. Templot software must not be used on any computer which is in use for safety-critical or life-support functions.

4. Some functions within Templot software may cause the display screen to flicker and should not be used by persons susceptible to photo-hypnotic effects. Children using the software should be supervised.

5. THE COMPUTER PROGRAM AND ALL ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTATION AND COMPUTER FILES COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS "TEMPLOT" OR "TEMPLOT SOFTWARE" IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND FREEDOM FROM DEFECT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHOR OR THE COPYRIGHT OWNER OR THE SUPPLIER BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, EVEN IF THE AUTHOR OR THE COPYRIGHT OWNER OR THE SUPPLIER HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. BY DOWNLOADING, STORING, EXECUTING OR MAKING ANY OTHER USE OF THE SOFTWARE THE USER ACCEPTS THE ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENCE OF ITS USE.

TEMPLOT SOFTWARE IS COPYRIGHT AND EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN PARAGRAPH 1 IT MAY NOT BE USED ON ANY COMPUTER OTHER THAN THE COMPUTER FOR WHICH IT WAS MADE AVAILABLE WITHOUT THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE COPYRIGHT OWNER AND IT MAY NOT BE COPIED, STORED, TRANSMITTED, TRANSFERRED OR MODIFIED IN ANY WAY THAT WOULD ENABLE IT TO BE USED ON ANY COMPUTER OTHER THAN THE COMPUTER FOR WHICH IT WAS MADE AVAILABLE WITHOUT THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE COPYRIGHT OWNER AND IT MAY NOT BE PUBLISHED, DISTRIBUTED, MODIFIED, REVERSE ENGINEERED, DISASSEMBLED OR RE-FORMATTED IN ANY WAY OR BY ANY MEANS OR USED IN ANY FORM OTHER THAN THAT IN WHICH IT WAS SUPPLIED WITHOUT THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE COPYRIGHT OWNER.
